ABOUT LEFKO
"Lefko" is the Greek word for 'white.'
The work of Lefko Consulting is to support predominantly white faith-based organizations as they seek to recognize and understand their unique culture and how it plays in multicultural spaces and relationships.
One of the most difficult components of organizational culture is race, which informs everything from how a team is structured to how that team is expected to operate and succeed. Most organizations were formed around white male culture, and it is challenging to address because it often accepted as 'just the way it's done.' Lefko believes this predominant culture is something that can be recognized and explored, empowering organizations to ensure that the entire community is represented within their particular culture and thus reach their kingdom potential.
Rev. Dr. Andrea Saccoccio received her MDiv. at Fuller Theological Seminary and her DMin. at Portland Seminary where she studied both gender and race in the church. Her doctoral work was focused on racial identity development and its intersection with trauma, and she brings a trauma-informed approach to her work with teams and individuals. She has facilitated difficult conversations, created organizational strategies for growth, and trained leaders to be more self-aware so that they can be more present to others in complicated situations.
Andrea also brings a wealth of fundraising experience, and has been involved in fundraising for nonprofits since 1991. She brings experience in campaign planning, individual donor work (including major donors and sustaining gifts), grant writing and administration, and annual giving planning.
